le Enchanteur’s Party

le Enchanteur’s birthday is on the 27th of August and the Angry Pixie has been dubbed events co-ordinator. Knowing her form she is just as likely to organise one big scrub a dub dub in Dame Washalots tub or have everyone troop up to the Faraway Tree to the land of Do What You Want. If you ask me Enchanteur does just what she wants to do on most days. Anywho! The challenge for everyone is to figure out how old Enchanteur actually is on the 27th. There will be a prize for the person who guesses how old this Enchantress from the Cave of the Enchantress is. Send your competition entries to Imogen Crest. There will also be prizes for the best stories involving le Enchanteur. Rumour has it that there might be a bit of ‘This is Your Life’ happening down in the Murmuring Woods. But that could just be heresay.

  1. The Elves and wood spirits are already gossiping, what is that Enchanteur up to now???

  2. I’ll bring a huge trifle for the party, one that is filled with strawberries and raspberries, topped with custard and rich cream, and decorated with L’Enchanteur’s name spelled out with what we used to call when I was a child, hundreds and thousands. And Oh, yes, maybe I’ll add a drop or two of my secret ingredient. Can you guess what that is?

  3. The regulars at the Taverna di Muse will be there (if I can get their arses off their barstools). Anyway, we will bring the flamenca dancers and many ripply muscled men to amuse Enchanteur.

  4. Maybe I could round up some leprechauns and faeries and just maybe…maybe…a banshee??!!!oooooohhhhh!!!

  5. Oh! Oh! Oh! A party! I’ll come and I’ll bring the slime puppy with me! He’ll love a party too!

  6. Slime puppy, trifle and all sorts of other goodies. I will be there girls. I think I might make lots of tiny bowls of Creme Brulee! That is Enchanteur’s favourite.

  7. Creme Brulee? That means someone has to bring a torch…. hmmm, with this crowd do you think that is a good idea? Anita Marie, do you still have your torch?

  8. I am bringing the priestesses from Owl Island, they love to dance and have been cooped up with visitors who only arrive to rest in hammocks or meditate in silence for too long. Fran
