Running Rose

Rose Running

Rose is running,
wildly through the Woods.
Running Rose,
Rose Running,
as she awakens,
and wakes up.

Running with Sybil,
at the Riversleigh Woods,
Fleeting glimpses,
passing trees and leaving,
old things behind,
wakening and awake.

  1. Lovely, Imogen. Your words are hauntingly beautiful, and the picture… oh, how I love the shadowy effect on the gold background. An amazing marriege between words and image.

  2. Beautiful!!! I love the image and the poem, both.

  3. Absolutely stunning!! The photo is simply exquisite!!

  4. This is magnificent Monika. What an amazing burst of creativity. Clearly there is something in your drinking water down there. I must dip in to it next time I am there. 🙂

  6. Thanks Ladies. I think we all have our times of running with Sybil in the Woods,
    or ought to! 😉

  7. Great composition in both the photo and the words. Haunting.

  8. Thanks, Quinn. It’s haunting and also freeing, in a strange way.
