Parrot Silhouettes

parrot silhouettes

A flock of parrots has taken a fancy to the woods. Lots of bird life seems to be coming of late, I noticed, looking up to the see the silhouettes and hearing the sounds of excited chatter…

  1. How wonderful to have these animated splashes of color clambering around in the tress overhead. I do like hookbills!

  2. How pretty. We get feral/wild parrots up from Mexico but they are a dingy green, not these bright colors.

  3. They are lovely. It seems so exotic to me to see parrots wild in trees. What a lovely splash of color in life!

  4. Two little parrots in fig season take turns at watching for the ripest fruit. Better theives than the neighbours, even the two who use ladders to reach over the fence. Loved your photo. Fran

  5. Ah! We have had many of these bright, gregarious little creature flittering around here too. Lovely shots Monika.

  6. Pretty bird! Pretty bird! Birdie want a crabapple?

  7. How funn, Dawn! You’re quite right, these birdies like their apples, but they might get a suprise with the crab apples. I just love them, the colour and the noise they make. It’s as if they know where it’s at šŸ˜‰
