SEED: “The Trees have ears …”
we need reminders, perhaps
that trees are listening –
knowing that we have forgotten so much –
and that humanity needs no ears
to hear the Songs and Murmurs
of Mountain and Sea;
joined as living
in the forest –
for ears are quickly drawn to the crack
of broken branch and fractured stone,
and cries of lonely …
